Planned Content
We have several objectives that we'd like to hit with our company blog:
1. Creating a Community
First and foremost, the purpose of this blog is interaction. We're dedicated to designing beautiful and innovative products, focused on a positive long-term experience.
In the same way, our focus here is to provide content that you are interested in and to hear from you. Please use the comments section to let us know your thoughts!
2. Announcing New Products and Collections
Everything we create is the culmination of hours and hours of design, engineering, and craft. Sharing the final product is a wonderful feeling and we'll use this blog to let you know when new products and collections are available.
Whether the collection is based on a species (Marvelous Maples, Wonderful Walnuts) or an innovative way in which we create the tables (Hand-Scraped Selection), we'll not only show you what we've created, but how and why we created it!
3. Providing a Behind-the-Scenes Look
There are many stages before a product is, in fact, available. From the designing, to sourcing, to creating, to finishing, and everything in between, we want to show you the level of quality and craftsmanship behind every Etz & Steel product.
Even before a product becomes available, we want to show you what's in production and what you can expect. Think of this blog as a counter seat at the kitchen - before the dish hits the table (pun intended), watch us prepare it, and even get involved!
4. Sharing Exciting Company Developments
Despite the years of experience that we have creating beautiful products out of solid slabs of wood, our company is fairly new and rapidly developing. Every day brings new challenges and with them, new opportunities.
We have a lot of wonderful things planned (did someone say "eCommerce platform"?) and can't wait to share them with you!
5. Contributing Interesting and Informational Industry Content and Guides
What is "Live Edge" exactly? Where does the term come from and what is its history?
Good questions.
And ones that we plan to research and answer, among many other topics, in order to keep you informed and entertained.
We hope to see you around. Everything we create is the product of labor and love and nothing brings us more joy than sharing that experience with you. We can only hope that you are as inspired to share our work with your friends and family as we are to share our work with you.
